Daniel Lafrentz Account Director, Legal Solutions | Germany, Austria, Switzerland

Daniel Lafrentz is Epiq’s Account Director in DACH countries (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) and is responsible for helping corporate and law firm clients achieve their outcomes through the use of Epiq’s legal solutions and services.

Daniel brings his client centric approach to Epiq, backed by almost 20 years of corporate sales and marketing roles building client relationships and understanding the workings of the German language markets, with more than six years specifically in the German legal industry. 

At Epiq, Daniel continues to focus on helping legal department and law firm teams with their adoption and use of technology and services to improve outcomes for litigation, investigations services, and legal operations transformation. Daniel is passionate of the role that eDiscovery and analytics technology can play in improving outcomes for the DACH legal industry in managing matters of all types, sizes, and jurisdictions.

Previous Professional Experience

Prior to Epiq, Daniel gained broad expertise working at legal service and technology providers across the industry. Most recently at PwC Germany, where he oversaw go to market initiatives for the Legal Transformation Consulting practice. Previously, he led the German enterprise sales of the Legal tech company Bryter, and made a decisive contribution to build the German business arm of the Alternative Legal Services Provider Axiom.

Over the course of his career, he has gained extensive experience in strategic Legal transformation consulting, contract management solutions, and the automation of legal workflows. 

Education Expertise

Daniel holds a degree in business administration from the University of Marburg. During his studies, he acquired a sound technical background, including certification as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
