Before the debt limit dropped June 21 from $7.5 million to about $3 million, there were 1,153 Subchapter V cases filed this year, about 200 a month and an increase of 66% from the same period last year, data released by legal technology company Epiq and the American Bankruptcy Institute showed, according to an article from Law 360.
