The ALSP market continues to show dramatic acceleration, according to the recently published Thomson Reuters’ Alternative Legal Services Providers report. Epiq’s Roger Pilc and Ziad Mantoura contributed to the report, and discussed how law firms and corporate legal departments continue to establish formal partnerships with ALSPs to deliver specialized expertise and cost-efficient services. 
 
This year’s survey gives every indication that the growth in the market for ALSPs will continue. According to this year’s research, the industry is experiencing significant growth, reaching a size of approximately $20.6 billion, and both law firms and corporate law departments are realizing the value of ALSPs, citing their specialized expertise, cost-efficiency, and ability to help manage headcount.
