When a federal jury found former Uber CSO Joe Sullivan guilty of charges related to a data breach cover-up, cybersecurity leaders across the world sat up and took notice, according to an article from Business Telegraph.

And, if you take those decisions upon yourself, you’re now in a very different world. 

"When you find yourself asking the question, ‘How can we keep this a secret?’ that should be your indication that maybe that’s not the road you want to go down."
