NEW YORK – Dec. 11, 2024 – Epiq is pleased to announce its recertification under the Data Privacy Framework (DPF) program for transatlantic data flows. Epiq complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF), the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Swiss-U.S. DPF) as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce.

The DPF program, which replaced the Privacy Shield program, facilitates the lawful transfer of personal data from the European Union, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland to the United States. Established by the U.S. Department of Commerce in collaboration with EU, UK, and Swiss authorities, it ensures an adequate level of protection for personal data transferred to participating US companies.
