Supplier Diversity Tier 2 Program
Tier 2 Program
Epiq views supplier diversity as an important component to our company’s overall commitment to diversity and a strategic link to our market leadership position. The utilization of suppliers who reflect and understand the diversity of our potential consumer base is a competitive advantage for us. Supporting the growth of these suppliers is fundamental to our corporate beliefs, values, and business objectives. The ability to effectively attract and engage diverse suppliers is critical to our business success. Epiq requests that our key suppliers join us in this commitment to increase the representation of certified diverse businesses throughout the supply base. As a result, many of our first tier suppliers have increased their efforts to develop and include small and diverse business enterprises in their procurement initiatives.
Our volume of business represents a significant investment in the business communities and the suppliers we select. As a result, we strongly encourage our primes or first tier suppliers to partner with us in expanding opportunities for minority, women, veteran, disadvantaged, LGBT, HUB Zone, Section 8(a), and small business suppliers. We feel that supply base diversification strengthens both our commitment to diverse suppliers without sacrificing cost, quality or service. By securing our prime suppliers’ diverse spend reporting, we ensure their successful participation in our supplier diversity initiative.
Tier 2 Reporting for Clients
In addition to tracking indirect procurement spend of our primes with small and diverse businesses, the Epiq supplier diversity team can assist in providing Tier 2 spend reporting to clients. However, this request must comply with internal policies and begin with a request from the sales/customer team. If you require this information, please contact your Sales support representative to initiate this process and contact the supplier diversity team via e-mail at supplierdiversity@epiqglobal.com.
