
Kate is a senior director at Epiq. With more than 20 years of experience, Kate has led Knowledge Management (KM) and practice innovation initiatives from strategy through implementation.
As chief knowledge and innovation officer at Bennett Jones LLP, Kate spent the last decade deploying KM and AI practice tools, driving adoption through change management and literacy programs. Prior to her time at Bennett Jones, she led information and knowledge design through her own consultancy, serving more than ten top law firms. Kate is a recognized leader in the KM community, known for her thought-provoking contributions to next-generation knowledge systems and findability. She excels at designing practical, user-friendly workflows that engage and benefit lawyers.
She earned her postgraduate diploma in legal practice and LLB in London before joining an online legal publishing startup. She began her KM career at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. Kate is a published author and a regular presenter at industry conferences, speaking on topics such as content management, user experience, LegalTech adoption, innovation, process optimization, and findability.
