Anoop Dogra Managing Partner, Simplex Legal

Anoop Dogra is the Managing Partner of Simplex Legal LLP. In this role, Anoop is responsible for the firm’s strategic direction, management, and client service, and will leverage his unique skillset as a lawyer, investment banker and entrepreneur to provide our clients with legal solutions that advance their business goals.

Anoop started his legal career as a corporate and securities lawyer at the Toronto office of Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP and served as a partner for seven years and advised corporations and investment dealers on corporate finance transactions, advised acquirors and targets in merger and acquisition transactions, and advised issuers on corporate governance, securities, and regulatory compliance matters.

In 2010, Anoop joined BMO Capital Markets as a Director of Cross-Asset Solutions. In that role, he was responsible for originating and structuring innovative financial products. Recently, Anoop served as a Managing Director at 3iQ Digital Asset Management, where he managed product development, syndication, and legal matters.

Anoop holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Western University, a Master of Business Administration degree from Saint Mary's University, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Guru Nanak Dev University (India) and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
