The award is ARMA International’s most acclaimed lifetime and career achievement honor for records and information management (RIM) professionals who have made outstanding contributions to the profession.

To qualify for induction, candidates must have a distinguished career as well as have a notable reputation in areas of ethics, professional responsibility and professional standards. With over 20 years of experience in the records and information management space, Colgan has been an outspoken thought leader, developing and delivering over one hundred presentations, articles and whitepapers related to these topics for organizations internationally and across the United States.

Colgan has served in various leadership positions for ARMA International chapters and committees, including serving as president and chair for the organization.
