A panel at GAR Live Hong Kong, featuring insights from Epiq’s Lorraine Medcraft, Vice President of Court Reporting, discussed the ways artificial intelligence has already changed the practice of international arbitration.

Medcraft added it was “not a rite of passage” for junior lawyers to “sit in a war room” putting documents into folders. AI can carry out these tasks and afford lawyers more time to get “proper real life legal experience” that is actually “enriching”.

GAR Live Hong Kong was a co-chaired event that too place at the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre on 24 October 2024 as part of Hong Kong Arbitration Week.
