Calgary - November 30, 2022 – Simplex Legal LLP (Simplex), a national Canadian firm offering cost-effective legal services and interim support for Canadian businesses and legal departments, announced today that Tricia Chrzanowski has been named Managing Partner, effective, Wednesday, November 30.

As Managing Partner, Tricia will oversee the day-to-day firm operations, including over 25 lawyers and legal professionals. Tricia joined Simplex in 2020 as Senior Legal Counsel and was promoted to Associate Managing Partner in 2021. Tricia’s practice focuses on general commercial, regulatory, and Indigenous law primarily in the energy sector. Prior to joining Simplex, Tricia was Associate General Counsel at a large midstream company in Calgary. 

Founded in 2012 by Martine Boucher and Geoff Best, Simplex is virtual by design with a technology-centric, in-house orientation and low-overhead model.  Nearly all the firm’s lawyers were in-house prior to joining Simplex.
