Deirdre O’Connor Head of Sales, Corporate Restructuring

Deirdre O’Connor is head of national sales for corporate restructuring at Epiq. With more than 30 years of restructuring experience in law, government, corporate finance, and technology enabled legal solutions, Ms. O’Connor is responsible for business development and strategic initiatives in all types of restructuring matters.

As a senior leader at Epiq, Ms. O’Connor supports corporate sales initiatives by analyzing new market growth areas that align with existing product offerings. Under her guidance, the corporate restructuring group, has become the undisputed market leader for technology-enabled solutions for legal and corporate clients.

Ms. O’Connor has several years of experience in the leveraged finance industry, most recently serving as managing director at Wells Fargo Capital Finance, where she provided finance solutions to distressed companies.  Ms. O’Connor has also served as the United States Trustee for the Southern District of New York and oversaw the administration of some of the largest bankruptcies in history. She also served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut in both the civil and criminal divisions.

Ms. O’Connor is extremely active in many restructuring organizations. She was the inaugural recipient of IWIRC’s Women of the Year in Restructuring and has received the St. Francis Service Award by Catholic Renewal of Catholic Charities of Greater New York. She is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute where she serves as an Advisory Board Member for its Health Care Program, and New York City Bankruptcy Conference. Ms. O’Connor is also an Adjunct Professor at St. John’s University School of Law, L.L.M. Program.
