Lorraine Medcraft Vice President, Court Reporting

Lorraine Medcraft is Vice President of Sales for Epiq’s International Court Reporting Business. She has over 20 years’ experience in providing solutions to law firms to enable them to maximise efficiencies and respond to client demands, whilst at the same time, staying true to their core values, principles and commitment to their staff. She and her team have worked on a range of projects from information governance and records management, outsourced staffing solutions to trial technologies and transcription. Medcraft has been an integral part in the development and launch of new legal technologies, including TMX. 

Previous Professional Experience

Prior to Epiq, Medcraft worked at Iron Mountain where she served as business development manager, assisting clients in business continuity and disaster recovery solutions for large corporations. During the course of her career, she has specialised in strategic sales and consultancy in the areas of data protection, outsourcing, alternative staffing models, eDiscovery, trial technologies, transcription and solution selling to best meet her clients’ needs.

Education/Speaking Expertise

Lorraine holds a 2:1 degree in French from the University of Leicester. She also has her RCSP (Relativity Sales Professional) Certification. She has served as a frequent speaker and consultant on the topics of legal operations, litigation, arbitration and eDiscovery. She has also penned articles on these topics in a variety of legal and financial publications. She is fluent in French and speaks conversational German.
